The Dynamic Spin Susceptibility as a Test for Models of High-T c Superconductivity

Abstract

Recent experimental results on the dynamic and wave vector dependent susceptibility are reviewed. Two features, particularly challenging for theoretical models, are the appearance of a spin gap at small doping and locking of the maximum to the commensurate AF-wavevector. Some recent progress on the tJ model in 1-dim. and 2-dim. is summarized in the light of the experimented results.
