Abstract

The coefficient of electronic specific heat in superconducting (La0.955Ba0.045)2CuO4 is determined from measurements of low-temperature specific heat in the Zn-doped system (La0.955Ba0.045)2Cu1-yZnyO4. The relation between the coefficient of electronic specific heat and the suppression of superconductivity with Zn doping for Cu is briefly discussed.
