Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung von Medulloblastomen wird um so kritischer gesehen, je jünger die Patienten sind. Chirurgisch soll eine weitestgehende Tumorresektion vorgenommen und eine Shuntimplantation vermieden werden, um Erfolge der onkologischen Therapie und die Lebensqualität der Patienten zu begünstigen.
