Zusammenfassung

Sphingolipidosen vom Typ der Niemann-Pick-Erkrankung sind eine heterogene Gruppe neurodegenerativer Erkrankungen vom neuronalen Typ, durch primäre Schädigung oder Speicherung in den Zellen des ZNS, u. a. auch im Bereich der für die Handlungs- und Haltemotorik zuständigen Systeme. Neben mehr oder weniger krankheitsspezifischen Ausfallserscheinungen können Anfallsphänomene das Bild dieser Erkrankungen gestalten.
