Zusammenfassung
Der Schlaf-Wach-Rhythmus ist ein wesentlicher Teilbereich des circadianen Systems, das normalerweise durch äußere Zeitgeberwirkungen auf den 24-h-Rhythmus der Erdumdrehung synchronisiert und phasengerecht so eingeordnet ist, daß der Hauptschlaf des Menschen in die nächtliche Dunkelphase fällt.
