Der Dermatozoenwahn ist eines jener wenigen Syndrome, welches sich — ungeachtet aller Klassifikationsversuche — in der alltäglichen Praxis einen bemerkenswert eigenständigen Platz unter den psychiatrischen Krankheitsbildern bewahrt hat.
