Abstract

Granulocyte-monocyte-colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is a glycoprotein that plays a key role as a humoral mediator in the induction and regulation of hemopoiesis both in vitro and in vivo. In vitro recombinant human (rh) GM-CSF proved to be active on hemopoietic precursor as well as on mature cells [5,18].
