Zusammenfassung
Die Benutzerschnittstellen hypermedialer Anwendungen umfassen in der Regel einen großen Anteil direkt-manipulativer Interaktionen zur Durchführung navigierender und ändernder Operationen auf graphisch dargestellten Informationen /GlSt-90/. Wichtig sind speziell kontinuierliche Interaktionen wie Verschieben (dragging) oder Dehnen (stretching) /FWC-84/. Gerade in Bereichen wie Hypermedia, in denen die graphischen Darstellungen hochvernetzte Anwendungsstrukturen repräsentieren, müssen die Benutzeroperationen oft unter Einhaltung anwendungsspezifischer Randbedingungen auf den Darstellungen durchgeführt werden. Solche Randbedingungen können z.B. das geometrische Ausrichten von Elementen sein, das Verbot von Überlappungen oder das Nachziehen von Verbindungslinien.
