Zusammenfassung

Die Präsentation von Multimedia-Objekten umfaßt die gleichzeitige und/oder sequentielle Präsentation von verschiedenen Repräsentationstypen (z.B. Text, Grafik, Bild, Audio und Video). Die zeitlichen Relationen zwischen verschiedenen Aktionen müssen spezifiziert und durch Anwendung geeigneter Synchronisationsmechanismen realisiert werden. Dieser Beitrag stellt ein Synchronisationsmodell und eine auf Pfadausdrücken basierende Notation für die Beschreibung von Synchronisationsbeziehungen vor. Eine äquivalente Darstellung durch Petri-Netze wird eingeführt und anhand von Beispielen erläutert.
