Zusammenfassung
Diese Untersuchungsmethode ermöglicht eine direkte Sichtbarkeit der Ziliarkörperfortsätze unter bestimmten Bedingungen, wie z. B. bei einer sehr großen Iridektomie, einer breiten Irisretraktion, einer Aniridie oder bestimmten Fällen von Aphakie (Abb. 3.1). Obwohl spezielle Kontaktgläser mit einer skleralen Indentation zur Zykloskopie entwickelt wurden [1,2], ist diese Untersuchungsmethode immer noch auf einen kleinen Prozentsatz der Augen beschränkt, bei denen die Möglichkeit für eine direkte Sichtbarkeit der Ziliarkörperfortsätze gegeben ist. Der Haupteinsatz dieser Methode ist bis jetzt weitgehend auf wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen an den Ziliarkörperfortsätzen reduziert [1,2] oder in Verbindung mit laserchirurgischen Eingriffen an den Ziliarkörperfortsätzen (transpupilläre Zyklophotokoagulation), die in Teil III besprochen werden.
