Zusammenfassung
Bis zu 33% aller Patienten mit Herzinsuffizienz weisen erhöhte Vasopressinspiegel im Plasma auf. Ein für eine vorhegende Osmolalität erhöhtes Vasopressin wird durch ACE-Hemmer normalisiert. Die hämodynamische Bedeutung erhöhter Vasopressinspiegel ist allerdings noch nicht klar. Die Anwendung eines vaskulären Vasopressinantagonisten zeigte — bei einer geringen Patientenzahl mit erhöhtem Vasopressinspiegel — eine Verbesserung der Hämodynamik mit Abnahme des Gefäßwiderstandes und Zunahme des Herzzeitvolumens. Um die Bedeutung von Vasopressin abschließend beurteilen zu können, sind Untersuchungen an größeren Kollektiven notwendig.
