Demenz als sozialmedizinisches Problem

Zusammenfassung

Mein Beitrag ist in 3 Abschnitte gegliedert: Im 1. Teil möchte ich einige bekannte Tatsachen der Kulturentwicklung in diesem Jahrhundert in Erinnerung rufen, die dazu geführt haben, daß Demenz ganz allgemein zu dem Problem geworden ist, welches es heute darstellt. Im 2. Teil werde ich untersuchen, wie sich Gesellschaft und Politik auf diese Veränderungen einstellen. Schließlich sollen im 3. Teil einige Konsequenzen erörtert und Forderungen erhoben werden, wobei ich mich vor einigen Überspitzungen nicht scheuen werde, damit die Aufgaben deutlicher werden.
