Abstract
Participants in the round table discussed questions which remain open regarding the efficiency of the strategies of screening for early cancer in the FRG. Two basics viewpoints were represented, that of the general management of public health and that of the improvement of the medical management of certain specific neoplastic diseases. The evaluation was based on the use of several criteria at different levels of the analysis.
