Information Processing by Systems with Chemical Communication
The aim of this paper is to show that large populations of biological cells or macro-organisms which communicate only chemically are capable of performing the basic functions of analog information processing. Specifically, I construct two hypothetical models of systems with chemical communications which possess the property of associative memory.
