Zusammenfassung

Aplastische Anämien (aA) und myelodysplastische Syndrome (MDS) sind Erkrankungen des hämopoetischen Stammzellsystems. Zum Verständnis der Erkrankungen werden zunächst einige physiologische Grundlagen der Regulation der Hämopoese dargestellt. Sodann wird die Differentialdiagnose der betreffenden Krankheitsbilder diskutiert und die spezielle Problematik der Erkrankungen besprochen.
