Zusammenfassung
Die peri-intraventrikuläre Blutung (PIVH) stellt eine der häufigsten zerebralen Läsionen bei Frühgeborenen dar. Seit der Einführung der routinemäßigen Neurosonographie in der Neonatologie ist die posthämorrhagische Ventrikeldilatation (VD) eine häufig beobachtete Folge der PIVH. Sie ist einerseits bedingt durch eine Störung der Liquordynamik, andererseits kommt sie zustande durch Läsionen der periventrikulären weißen Substanz. Die Auswirkung der PIVH auf die spätere zerebrale Entwicklung hängt im wesentlichen von diesen assoziierten parenchymalen Läsionen ab [1, 5, 6, 8, 10].
