Zusammenfassung

Die Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT) konnte bei der Darstellung von Gefäßen rasch ihre Überlegenheit gegenüber der Computertomographie zeigen [3]. Mit der Entwicklung zweidimensionaler (2D) und dreidimensionaler (3D) Gradienten-Echo-(GE-)Pulssequenzen wurde die Basis für die Magnetresonanzangiographie (MRA) geschaffen. In der MRA werden die Eigenschaften des fließenden Bluts zur Gefäßdarstellung genutzt, so daß weder Kontrastmittel (KM) noch ionisierende Strahlung angewendet werden müssen [9].
