Zusammenfassung
Für das multifaktorielle Geschehen einer akuten oder chronischen Entzündung konnte auch eine Porstaglandin-Freisetzung aus geschädigten Gewebezellen und an der Entzündungsreaktion beteiligten Blutzellen nachgewiesen werden [7, 15]. Im Exudat experimenteller und klinischer Entzündungen wurden überwiegend PGE2 und PGI2 gefunden [15]. Die proinflammatorische Wirkung wird durch Vasodilatation, Erythembüdung, Sensibilisierung von Schmerzrezeptoren und Fieberauslösung gekennzeichnet. Eine antiinflammatorische Wirkung [5, 9] besteht insofern, als PGE1, PGE2 und PGI2 die Freisetzung lysosomaler Enzyme hemmen und negativ chemotaktisch auf polymorphkernige Leukozyten wirken [16].
