Zusammenfassung
Bei urämischen Patienten tritt häufig eine Hyperphosphatämie auf. Medikamentös kann die enterale Aufnahme von Phosphat durch Applikation von Aluminiumhydroxid gesenkt werden. Das hieraus resorbierte Aluminium kann aber nach jahrelanger Verabreichung schwere Organschäden hervorrufen. Aus diesem Grund werden zunehmend Kalziumsalze organischer Säuren als Phosphatbinder verwendet
