Zusammenfassung
Bei der Thematik von Nutzen und Kosten in der Prävention könnte man es sich relativ leicht machen und behaupten, Prävention Sci per se ethisch, weil Vorbeugen besser Sci als Heilen. Dem ist leider nicht immer so, auch wenn eine ethische Begründung darin liegt, daß wir Krankheit und Tod verhindern oder hinausschieben können. AndererScits ist Prävention auch nicht immer dadurch zu begründen, daß sie Kosten spare. Es kann durchaus Scin und ist in vielen Fällen so, daß die Prävention teurer kommt als die nachträgliche Kuration.
