Abstract
The limitations of the atomic beam intensity by the finite pumping speed are discussed. The beam intensity dependence on the pumping speed Un was shown to be less then U<Stack><Subscript>n</Subscript><Superscript>1/2</Superscript></Stack> The experimental results confirming this fact are presented.
