Abstract
V15+-, Ni17+-, Xe25+- and U32+-ions at 1.4 MeV/u were used to ionize and excite Ne and Ar atoms. Spectra with wavelengths between 8 nm and 25 nm were recorded. Using tabulated wavelength values, the wavelength scale of the used grazing incidence spectrometer could be calibrated in situ within 0.01 nm.
