Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Beitrag möchte eine komprimierte Einführung in die Rheumatologie geben. Er greift dabei auf bewährte Standardwerke zurück [5, 6, 7, 9,12] und verknüpft hier die Darstellung der modernen Terminologie und Klassifikation des deutschsprachigen Raums (insbesondere [12]) mit einem kurzen Abriß der Definition und klinischen Nosologie rheumatischer Erkrankungen.
