Die Entwicklung radikaler Operationstechniken in der Gynäkologie

Zusammenfassung

Wenn man einige Jahre nach seiner Emeritierung einen Vortrag über ein aktuelles gynäkologisches Thema hält, braucht es dafür gute Argumente. Für mich gibt es drei:

  1. 1.

    Die freundliche Einladung des Gastgebers, Herrn Kollege Bastert, für die ich mich herzlich bedanke.

  2. 2.

    Daß es sich beim heutigen Anlaß um ein Gedächtnissymposium für meinen Schüler und Freund Fred Kubli handelt, der ja auch auf dem Gebiet der radikalen Chirurgie, v.a. des Mammakarzinoms, mit an vorderster Front stand.

  3. 3.

    Daß ich viele Pioniere der radikalen Chirurgie der letzten 50 Jahre persönlich gekannt habe und mit manchen befreundet war oder bin.
