Tarnow [31] hat es auf den Punkt gebracht, was alle Anästhesisten aus unterschiedlicher Perspektive seit langem wissen: „Die Prämedikation gehört zu den am wenigsten gelösten Problemen der Anästhesie.“Dieser Satz hat vor allem seine Bedeutung in der Kinderanästhesie.
