Zusammenfassung
Die multiple endokrine Neoplasie von Typ II A (MEN II A) weist einen autosomal dominanten Erbgang auf. Durch screening-Untersuchungen in MEN II A Familien wird angestrebt, durch Bestimmung des Tumormarkers Calcitonin das C-Zell-Carcinom bereits im okkulten Stadium zu diagnostizieren, da nur dann eine kurative chirurgische Therapie gewährleistet ist.
