Comparative Swingtainer and Bicycle Spiroergometrical Examinations in Leisure Time Sportsmen
The swingtrainer is a four-extremities speed-dependent ergometer, developed by Bals for fitness training. It enables workloading up to 400 watts. In the swingtrainer ergometry the subject starts the exercise in riding position, by a concomitant arm-pulling and leg-pushing movement followed by an arm-pushing movement to the initial position. There is a certain similarity between the swingtrainer and rowing ergometry.
