Abstract
The objectives of the study described in this contribution were to run a pilot study on the efficacy and safety of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) treatment in patients with intermediate MCA ischemic lesions and to assess the efficacy of perfusion with noninvasive neuroimaging with technetium-99 m hexamethyl propyleneamine oxime (TcHMPAO) regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT).
