Neue Entwicklungen in der Therapie von Lebertumoren

Zusammenfassung

Die durchschnittliche Überlebenszeit von Patienten mit inoperablen primären Leberkarzinomen beträgt ohne Behandlung 75 Tage im Median [30]. Ebenso wird eine 6monatige mediane Überlebenszeit bei Patienten mit kolorektalen Lebermetastasen (CLRM) erwartet [3]. Systemische Therapien führten bisher nicht zu einer marginalen Verlängerung der Überlebenszeiten [27]. Nach regionaler Applikation von FUDR (Floxuridine) über die Leberarterie wurde dagegen eine Steigerung auf 16–19 Monate für kolorektale Karzinome beschrieben [8]. Die regionale Chemotherapie von Leberzellkarzinomen (LZK) hat sich im Gegensatz dazu nicht durchgesetzt. Aufgrund der hohen lokalen Toxizität des am häufigsten verwendeten Doxorubicins traten oft Komplikationen im zuführenden Gefäßsystem auf [18].
