Abstract
The order Ebenales comprises two suborders: Sapotineae with two families — Sapotaceae and Sarcospermataceae, and Ebenineae with five families — Ebenaceae, Styracaceae, Lissocarpaceae, Symplocaceae and Hoplestigmataceae.
