Abstract

Prevention of stenosing or occluding thickening in the walls of arteries supplying blood to the brain has become important to experimental research with an increasing number of patients surviving a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or a stroke caused by occlusion or stenosis in these arteries. In the following report some experimental efforts in this direction are presented.
