Abstract
The most frequently occurring benign tumors in tropical and subtropical regions are practically the same as those encountered in zones of temperate climate. There are, however, differences in appearance and manifestation which may be due to ethnic differences, the poorer medical facilities available or the effects of climate. The benign tumours dealt with here include:
-
Keloid
-
Histiocytoma
-
Fibroma
-
Lipoma
-
Leiomyoma
-
Seborrhoeic keratoses
-
Dermatosis papulosa nigra
-
Syringoma
-
Sebaceous cyst
-
Mucous cyst
-
Dermal cylindroma
