Abstract
In large areas of tropical South America, Africa and Asia more than one third of the population is insufficantly nourished. Of dermatological interest are mainly those nutritional disorders which are caused by deficiencies of various natures such as protein-calorie deficiency and various types of hypovitaminoses:

Kwashiorkor

Vitamin A deficiency

Pellagra
-
Riboflavin deficiency
