Chemotherapie des Plattenepithelkarzinoms der Speiseröhre im interdisziplinären Konzept

Zusammenfassung

Bei der Behandlung von Patienten mit Plattenepithelkarzinom der Speiseröhre bestehen für die Anwendung zytostatisch wirkender Medikamente drei Indikationen:
  • als Palliativmaßnahme bei Patienten mit lokoregionalen Rezidiven und/oder mit Fernmetastasen,

  • bei funktionell operablen Patienten mit lokoregional begrenzten bzw. lokal fortgeschrittenen Primärtumoren im Rahmen einer multimodalen Verbundtherapie als präoperative (neoadjuvante) Therapieoption (alleinige Chemotherapie oder Radio-/Chemotherapie) mit dem Ziel, durch Steigerung der radikalen Resektionen (R0-Resektionen) die Prognose zu verbessern und

  • bei funktionell inoperablen Patienten mit lokoregional begrenzter bzw. lokal fortgeschrittener Tumorausbreitung in Verbindung mit der Strahlentherapie (simultan oder sequentiell).
