Zusammenfassung
Das Magenkarzinom zeigt zwar eine gewisse Sensibilität gegenüber verschiedenen Zytostatika, dennoch sind die Gesamtergebnisse der systemischen Therapie bislang unbefriedigend. Als wirksame Substanzen gelten Cisplatin, Doxorubicin, Epirubicin, 5-FU, Mitomycin und mit gewissen Einschränkungen Methotrexat, Etoposid und Nitrosoharnstoffe [1, 2]. Die wirksamsten Kombinationstherapien erreichen Remissionsraten von ca. 35–50%. Um diese Ergebnisse verbessern zu können, ist eine möglichst detaillierte präklinische Erprobung neuer Therapiekonzepte nötig.
