Zusammenfassung
Das Modell der Zottenreifung der menschlichen Plazenta ist kürzlich um die mesenchymalen Zotten erweitert worden (Castellucci et al. 1990a, Kaufmann et al. 1990), die als neue Aussprossungen sowohl seitlich als auch endständig an Intermediärzotten zu finden sind und als primitive Vorläufer aller anderer Zottentypen angesehen werden. Die vorgestellten Befunde sollen die mesenchymale Zotte lichtmikroskopisch und dreidimensional charakterisieren.
