Zusammenfassung

Die nephrologischen Nierenerkrankungen beschränken sich meist auf das Nierenparenchym. Viele der klinischen Zeichen und Symptome einer Erkrankung der Niere oder der ableitenden Harnwege treten sowohl bei nephrologischen wie auch bei urologischen Erkrankungen der Niere oder anderer Organe des Urogenitaltrakts auf. Bei einer Reihe von Erkrankungen des Nierenparenchyms, der Blutgefäße oder der ableitenden Harnwege können folgende Symptome auftreten: Hämaturie, Proteinurie, Pyurie, Oligurie, Schmerzen, Niereninsuffizienz mit Azotämie, Azidose, Anämie, Elektrolytstörungen, Hypertonie, Kopfschmerzen und Sehstörungen.
