Zusammenfassung

Im Rahmen dieses Buches werden zahlreiche Faktoren, die eine Rolle für die Entstehung von Kopf-Hals-Tumoren spielen, diskutiert. Im Vordergrund stehen dabei vor allem exogene Einflüsse [27]. Als wichtigste ätiologische Faktoren sind Tabak- und Alkoholkonsum, berufliche Exposition gegenüber Schadstoffen, Virusinfektionen, eine genetische Prädisposition und die Ernährungsweise zu nennen.
