Free-Space Multistage Optical Interconnection Networks Using Micro Lens Arrays

Abstract

New optical interconnection networks with a self-routing function using lens arrays, whose optical systems have low aberration and high light power efficiency, are presented. Interconnection experiments are successfully demonstrated using two sets of planar micro lens arrays.
