Zusammenfassung

Die isolierte Perfusionsbehandlung zur Therapie maligner Tumoren der Extremitäten wurde zum ersten Mal 1957 am Department of Surgery, Tulane eingeführt (Creeeh et al. 1958). Cavaliere und Mitarbeiter benutzten dieses Perfusionsverfahren als erste im hyperthermen Bereich bei Temperaturen um 43 Grad C (Cavaliere et al. 1967). Stehlin konnte bei der Zytostatikaperfusion im hyperthermen Bereich bessere Ergebnisse erzielen als unter normothermen Bedingungen (Stehlin et al. 1975).
