Zusammenfassung
Die Tumornachsorge (auch tertiäre Prävention) ist ein äußerst bedeutsames Kapitel innerhalb der Betreuung der tumorkranken Patientinnen. Je nach Art und Lokalisation der Krankheit, je nach Ausdehnung und Therapie des Tumors handelt es sich zu einem großen Teil um geheilte Patientinnen. Für das Zervixkarzinom kann dieser Prozentsatz je nach Stadium zwischen 40 und 90% bei makroinvasivem Tumorwachstum liegen.
