Die Prognose der Karzinomkrankheit hängt von vielfältigen und zum Teil sehr unterschiedlichen Faktoren ab. Sie liegen zum einen im Tumor selbst und sind zum anderen im Trägerorganismus begründet (Tabelle 13.1).
