Nicht nur das seit langem bekannte Problem der Hepatitis-Übertragung, sondern insbesondere der schicksalhafte Verlauf der HIV-Infektion bei Hämophilen hat in der Behandlung der Hämophilie zur Herstellung von Gerinnungskonzentraten geführt, die unabhängig vom Plasma gewonnen werden.
