Abstract
The internal mammary artery has been established as the preferred conduit for myocardial revascularization and the anatomical, pathological, and experimental data supporting its use as well as the indications, contraindications, and surgical techniques for take-down and construction of complex internal mammary artery—coronary artery revascularizations are discussed in the previous sections. This study was undertaken to analyze the actual results of clinical application of these concepts.
