Zusammenfassung
Die Entstehung des Genu recurvatum als Ergebnis einer partiellen Wachstumsstörung der proximalen Tibiaepiphysenfuge ist selten. In einer Literaturübersicht wurden von Pappas et al. [14] insgesamt 14 Fälle beschrieben. Lecuire et al. [10] fanden 4 Fälle. Zur ätiologie werden verschiedene Mechanismen diskutiert: Direktes Trauma auf den anterioren Anteil der Wachstumsfuge [12], Mißplazierung eines Extensionsdrahtes [8], Osgood-Schlatter-Erkrankung [18] und längerdauernde Gipsimmobilisation [13]. Vom morphologischen Aspekt her läßt sich das Genu recurvatum in 3 Gruppen unterteilen: knöchern, ligamentär und kombiniert. Einige Fälle der knöchernen Gruppe entwickeln sekundär eine ligamentäre Laxität dorsal [10]. Bei dem hier beschriebenen Genu recurvatum handelt es sich um eine ossäre Läsion.
