Body Image After Hysterectomy: Time Is Honey

Abstract

Hysterectomy is one of the most practiced surgical operations on women. Since the operation is rarely an emergency case, I have always been interested in knowing why and how the decision to operate is taken. The time when speed was the principal quality of the surgeon is over. The former speed of the surgeon seems to have been replaced by the rapidity of the decision to operate even in a field where it does not appear to be justified.
