Abstract

The paper starts with a short review of the 2 standard algorithms (S.Evans, M.Florian) for solving the combined trip distribution and assignment problem. After this, a new algorithm is introduced. At the end of the paper the 3 algorithms are tested with a realistic dataset and the results are compared. These results show, that the new algorithm converges more rapidly than the both in use.
