Abstract

It is not easy, in discussing the investigations and management of the vascular patient, to achieve a reasonable balance between a satisfactory minimal standard of care and what would be expected in a major specialist centre or academic unit. Professor Fagrell has outlined an excellent approach from which there can be little dissent.
