Zusammenfassung
Bis vor wenigen Jahren war es üblich, bei den Versuchen, die medizinische Versorgung zu verbessern, von der Aufarbeitung stattgehabter Komplikationen mit für den Patienten negativen Ergebnissen auszugehen. Diese Methode ist in der Anästhesie ungeeignet, da Anästhesiekomplikationen selten sind, dann aber häufig grobe Schädigungen für den Patienten mit sich bringen (6).
