Abstract

The pathophysiology and especially the therapy of acute pancreatitis remains controversial [3]. There is no consensus so far regarding a conservative surgical strategy. This leads automatically to different accentuations, on the one hand, the concept to stay conservative, and, on the other, to go into surgery.
